Welcome to MOVEMENT MONTANA (the new home of Elevation Dance Company) where we don't believe one program fits all dancers and we believe that there is more to movement than just dance. First and foremost, it is our philosophy that ALL dancers should be trained to their fullest potential. We pride ourselves on providing the best technical training for every dancer in small, student centered classes. We focus on the individual dancer and guide them through a path that best fits their needs. Our Academy Program is focused on building technically trained dancers...you as a dancer can choose how to use your training.

The Academy program is where all of our dancers will train in small technique focused classes in a curriculum-based structure. Our curriculum is designed to create technical artists. Think of this program as your core classes. Every one of our dancers will take a selection of core classes from The Academy. These are the classes you will need to build the foundation of becoming the dancer you want to be. You can choose to take just one class, or you we can assist you in setting up a class schedule that will help you meet your goals.

This early childhood program is designed not for dancers, but for our smallest movers. There is so much great science to what music and movement can do for developing children. The kinesthetic and music skills that are applied in this program foster brain development, coordination, social-emotional development and so much more! These classes are a great start for all children, not just our young dancers.
The Discovery program is designed for our newest dancers of any age. This program allows dancers to start in an environment where they can "try on" dance. Discovery classes are designed to be recreational and a fun way to introduce new dancers to this exciting world.
Ensemble is one of our three company options at MOVESTUDIOS. Adding a company experience to your training is a great way to become a part of a team or group of dancers. This company will perform locally throughout the year. This team is not a competitive team and will not participate in dance competitions.
Evolve is another of our three company options at MOVESTUDIOS. Adding a company experience to your training is a great way to become a part of a team or group of dancers. This company will compete locally January-May. It will focus on building sound teams of trained dancers who would like to perform at competitions.
Elevation Dance Company is the final of our three company options. Elevation Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is in residence at MOVESTUDIOS. Elevation is an award winning competitive dance company designed for the most dedicated and highly trained dancers. This company accepts dancers by private audition only. Elevation dancers will compete locally and nationally as well as attend conventions both in and out-of state.
*All Academy classes and discovery classes will perform choreography demonstrating skills learned in an end of the year production. Performance companies: Ensemble, Evolve and Elevation will each have a portfolio of performance pieces that will include local and guest choreography.
